I wanted to cheer on the men who fought with the Hinomaru on their backs. -- The birth of SIDO.

I'd like to talk about what led me (Shiro Nogi) to become independent after working in planning at my father's sewing factory.

It was Junichi Inamoto's goal in the 2002 World Cup.

Yokohama International Stadium. The moment tens of thousands of spectators rose to their feet simultaneously, a wave-like sensation from the entire stadium rushed through my body. I still vividly remember that impact.

"I want to create a brand that supports men who fight with the Hinomaru (Japanese flag) on their backs, just like these people."

On the train ride home, shouting along with the ecstatic supporters, I made that decision in my heart.

(*This event is also discussed in detail in a video.)

That feeling from back then hasn't changed at all, even after more than 20 years.

I unconditionally want to support athletes.

I have no idea how it spread, but athletes from all over the country continue to ask for my "support."

I'll support them with as many pairs of underwear as they need.

I think I've given out thousands of pairs so far...

Recently, I've been supporting not only athletes but also people "taking on challenges" across all categories.

Come to think of it, it's not just sports that make you drenched in sweat.

Music artists also get covered in sweat on stage.
The breathability and quick-drying properties of Bandage Pants are also effective here.

The same goes for stage actors and actresses. Especially actresses, after sweating profusely on stage, often catch colds from the air conditioning backstage.
Through word-of-mouth at such venues, Bandage Pants have steadily gained popularity.

I'd love to name names, but since it's underwear, I'll refrain. (Though I've written about them enthusiastically in my book.)

20th anniversary of founding.

I've made a new resolution.

I will wholeheartedly support artists who are pursuing their passions.

Thankfully, I've been receiving collaboration offers one after another from music industry veterans.

Masaki Ueda, Junji Aryama, Kantaro Uchida (very traditional).
Yumi Matsutoya and Masataka Matsutoya (very stylish).
Charismatic bassist Tsugutoshi Goto (intimidating).
And from across the ocean, David Foster (nobody knows him, though).
From hip-hop, YDIZZY (someone who's about to become seriously famous).

The genres and generations are all over the place. But what they all have in common is...
They are all people who continue to fight on the front lines.

Moreover, these are sexy Bandage Pants with a slightly different direction than before.
Cool designs will also be appearing.

After all, there are many old guys who want to challenge themselves.

Please look forward to SIDO in the latter half of this year.
